It was a long 21 hour day starting at 3am Saturday morning but the time spent on the Mall in D.C. was refreshing and inspirational. I went with my son, his two friends of years and their sons. The the Justice or Else, 20th Anniversary of the Million Man March drew a huge crowd of rapt listeners, numbers to be determined at a later date, and went off without a hitch of any kind. The watchful eye by members of the Nation of Islam provided security, as unnecessary as it was. The police maintained a presence but off from the Mall and more on the perimeter.
Here are some photos from the day, compliments of me and L.J. More information and commentary to follow soon.
